Spacious detached chalets at short distance from piste in Oz-en-Oisans
Nice car free chalet park, consisting of 33 great individual chalets. The chalets Clos du Pré are situated ideally on the outskirts of the friendly Oz-en-Oisans (at an altitude of 1350 metres), between the piste and the forests. From these chalets, built with a high usage of wood and stone, you'll have a beautiful view on the old Oz-village, the reservoir and the Massif de Belledonne. The chalets are positioned against the mountain, which can make some chalets it a tad hard to reach.
Two gondola lifts (150 and 300 metres from the park) see to a quick connection to the pistes of the super Alpe d'Huez skiing area. This area has 82 lifts and more than 220 km of pistes. These cabin lifts can also be used by people that don't want to ski (this requires an additional fee though). Directly at the entrance of the park there is a short drag lift with a green piste. Thanks to this lift you can quickly get to the two gondola lifts that you'll find at a higher altitude in the village. Here you'll also find a practice area with free practice lift and slopes for sledding. You can also ski back using this green piste.
In the centre of Oz-en-Oisans, located at ca. 150 metres from the chalet park, you can find all the facilities you may need during your stay. Here you'll find for example the supermarket, bakery, ski rental, several restaurants and the ski school with daycare.
In the hotel 'Le Hors Piste', situated at the entrance of the park, there is a reception with a good restaurant and a cosy bar. You can park your car in the covered parking garage (requires an additional fee) or in the free public parking area, located at 100 metres.
Lay-out
Entrance on the first floor, reached via a hall with ski storage and toilet. Cosy living room with sitting area and double sofabed, fireplace in the middle and a dining corner. Completely equipped open kitchen with e.g. hotplates, a fridge, oven, dishwasher and microwave. Access to the balcony and the terrace.
On the ground floor four bedrooms with two single beds each. Three bathrooms, of which one with a shower and washbasin, one with shower, washbasin and toilet and one with bath and washbasin. Separated toilet.
On the top floor two bedrooms with two single beds each. Seventh bedroom with two single beds and a balcony. From this bedroom you can access the mezzanine (reached via a steep ladder) with two single beds (limited standing height). Two bathrooms, of which one with bath and one with shower. Separated toilet on this floor.
