The skiing area is just 30 kilometres away from Albertville. In December 2005 Espace Cristal has been renamed to Espace Diamant. The skiing area now consists of five resorts: Crest-Voland-Cohennoz, Flumet-St Nicolas la Chapelle, Notre Dame de Bellecombe, Praz sur Arly and Les Saisies.
Furthermore Les Saisies offers beautiful loipes for cross country skiers, for which this area is famous due to it's beauty on one hand and thanks to the Olympic games of 1992 on the other hand. There are 100 kilometres of loipes and you'll find all kinds of necessary facilities, such as showers.
Pedestrians can walk on footpaths through the woody area of the cross country ski area.
