In the Espace Killy ski area you can find the villages Tignes and Val d'Isère. There are a lot of off-piste possibilities, but for the beginners there are more than enough easy slopes. A skimetro (underground) brings you to the top of La Grande Motte, this is an area where you can ski the whole year! Snowboarders can use all the slopes, without any exceptions.
Cross country skiers will find an easy altitude track in Val d’Isere, on the Solaise (2700 metres). They can also make a beautiful trip through the rough nature. This path starts in Le Châtelard and ends near the chair lift of Le Manchet. In Tignes le Lac, you can find cross country ski tracks on the frozen lake.
