Isola 2000 is a unique, wooded area with 120 kilometres of slopes at ca. 100 kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea. When it's a clear day and you're at Cime de Sistron (at an altitude of 2603 metres) one can even see the Mediterranean Sea. The skiing area Isola 200 is near an area of outstanding natural beauty; the Parc National du Mercantour. It is also surrounded by rough peaks. Thanks to the southern location it's a very sunny area. Furthermore, the biggest part of the descents (ca. 90%) is above the 2000 metres, which makes it, besides being sunny, also very certain of snow. The descents are very varied and well-suited for people of every level of skill.
