This area is known for it's many sun hours, yet is almost always guaranteed to have snow. For the beginning skier you'll find many possibilities, but for the experienced skier there are many off-piste possibilities. For snowboarders there is a funpark with a halfpipe, spine and several jumps in the Secteur La Toura. You'll also find a boardercross here.
In Vénosc and in the start of the village you can cross-country ski. Furthermore there is a high track on the glacier and there are some off-piste tracks for cross-country skiers (a guide is required for this).
There are no special winter-footpaths. Therefore, people that like to walk should visit Alpe d'Huez or Serre Chevalier instead. Here you can e.g. make Bigfoot-walks.
