One of the biggest skiing areas in the world at the border of France and Switzerland, east of Geneva. In the Portes du Soleil you'll find 13 cosy and characteristic villages. Thanks to the extensiveness of the area it's very well-suited to make several alternating daytrips.
For the true daredevil there is the black slope, which is a true challenge, since it's really steep. The slopes Crozats and Interets at the World Cup slope are meant for cracks. Every evening there are 5 km of slopes illuminated.
Divided over the two floors there are enough possibilities for cross country skiers and people that like to walk.
