Ski Holiday Wald im Pinzgau

Wald im Pinzgau is situated on an altitude of approx 900 meters on the border of the Salzburgerland and Tirol (Zillertal). Wald is a peaceful, authentic village with several facilities such as a supermarket, sport shop (with equipmentrental), nursery, après-ski bar and two restaurants. Several activities are organised by the sport shop.

Wald lies next to one of the longest cross country ski loipes of Austria (approx 200 km Pinzgau Loipe) and is situated between 3 ski areas:
- Zillertal Arena (start from Krimml or Königsleiten)(on approx 15 minutes driving of Wald)
- Wildkogel Arena/Neukirchen am Grossvenediger (on approx 5 minutes driving of Wald)
- Paßturn/Kitzbühel via Hollersbach (on approx 10 minutes driving of Wald)

The Zillertal Arena/Hoch Krimml is attainable with the free ski bus. The lift pass of the Zillertal Arena (at 6 days this is the Zillertaler super lift pass) can be used also in the ski area of Neukirchen am Grossvenediger (also attainable by free ski bus). It is possible to book this lift pass by us and must be picked up in Königsleiten.

Entirely special is the Salzburgersuper lift pass! These lift pass is valid in all the three ski areas (It is an extension on the super Zillertalers lift pass, but then with extra access to Paßturn /Kitzbühel). Unfortunately we cannot deliver this lift pass, these can only be bought on the spot.

Because Wald lies to the edge of the bunches, it is a good choice for walkers.
