Wintersport Walchen (near Kaprun)

The small village of Walchen is situated in the municipality of Piesendorf-Niedernsill. Walchen is about 10 minutes away by car from the ski region Zell am See / Kaprun. Walchen has its own small ski area, the Erlebnisberg Nagelköpf, with a ski lift, a tobogganing run, tubes and a ski school. In the high season you can enjoy night skiing twice per week.

The ski pass for the ski area of Zell am See/Kaprun is also valid in the ski area of Saalback/Hinterglemm/Leogang/Fieberbrunn, together for a total of 408 km of slopes.
